Who we are

SiteFino is an AI website builder for small businesses. We are the data controller for information collected through our service at sitefino.io and sitefino.com. If you have questions about this policy, email us at hello@sitefino.com.

What data we collect

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you create an account.
• Business information: The business name, description, and other details you provide to build your website.
• Conversation history: Messages between you and the SiteFino AI, used to generate and update your site.
• Website content: The pages, text, and assets that make up your generated website.
• Billing information: Payment details processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
• Domain and email data: Domain registration and email forwarding configuration linked to your account.
• Usage data: Basic, cookie-free analytics on how visitors use your website (page views, referrers). No personal data is collected from your visitors.

How we use your data

• To build, host, and update your website
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To set up and manage your domain and email forwarding
• To provide customer support
• To send important account and service notifications (not marketing, unless you opt in)

Third-party services

We use the following trusted services to deliver SiteFino:

• Anthropic: Powers the AI that generates and edits your website content.
• Stripe: Handles payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Fly.io: Hosts the SiteFino application and your generated website.
• Cloudflare: Provides DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection for your site.
• ImprovMX / SendGrid: Powers email forwarding for your business address.
• Namecheap: Domain registration and management.
• Unsplash and Pexels: Provide optional stock photo search and image delivery. When you search for or use stock photos, search terms, selected image identifiers, image URLs, and provider-required interaction or download events may be sent to the relevant provider. Provider-hosted image URLs may also be loaded in the editor or on generated websites. See Unsplash's Privacy Policy and Pexels' Privacy Policy.

Cookies

SiteFino does not use tracking cookies. We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. Your visitors' website analytics are collected without cookies and are GDPR-compliant by default.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
• Export your data in a portable format
• Object to or restrict processing of your data

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance (e.g., billing records for 7 years).
